Sell your sourdough. Skip the 10 PM tally.

Neighbors order from one link and pay up front. Proof adds it all up, tells you what to mix tonight, and shows what each loaf really earns.

Click around a real bakery's week. No signup, nothing to install.

From the demo bakery: a sold-out Saturday drop with every order paid, tonight's mixing, and every loaf you owe.

Sound like your week?

You love the baking. The counting, the chasing and the guessing are what eat your evenings. Here is what changes.

  • Before: Orders in DMs, comments and a text thread

With Proof: One link to share. Orders come in paid.

  • Before: Checking Venmo screenshots at pickup

With Proof: Everyone pays when they order, straight to your own Stripe.

  • Before: Adding up loaves in a notebook at 10 PM

With Proof: Every loaf is added up for you, by day and pickup time.

  • Before: Guessing how many batches, and when to start your mix

With Proof: Batches in two clicks, and a plan that says when to start.

  • Before: Worrying that $10 a loaf is too little

With Proof: The real cost of each loaf, and what it earns at your price.

  • Before: A cafe asks for a standing order, and you panic

With Proof: Say yes. The cafe orders from its own page, with the notice you set.

Your first week with Proof

What you do, and what Proof does for you. No big setup, no class to take.

  1. Tonight

    Add your loaves

After the kids are down, add your loaves, your prices and your pickup spot. Connect Stripe so the money goes to you. Plan on one evening.

  2. Tomorrow

    Share your drop

Open your first drop with a pickup window and an order deadline. Post the link on Instagram or in your Facebook group, or text it to neighbors.

  3. Saturday

    Just bake

Every order is paid and added up by pickup time. Make batches in two clicks, follow the plan, and hand off bread. Nobody owes you money.

Know what to bake, and when to start

Proof does the counting and the clock math. You do the baking.

  1. Step 1

    See every loaf you owe

One board shows every loaf, by day and by pickup time. Orders from your drop, this week's loaf club and your cafe orders all land in the same place.

You can see where each loaf is going: a neighbor, a subscriber or a cafe.

See how the demand board works
  2. Step 2

    Make batches in two clicks

Press Preview, then Confirm. Proof splits your orders into batches using each recipe's yield. 54 Country Sourdough at 12 a batch is 5 batches. No math on the back of an envelope.

Drag a batch to In progress when you start, and to Done when it comes out of the oven.

  3. Step 3

    Know when to start

Proof works back from each pickup time. It uses your hours, your oven and how many hands you have, so the plan fits your real kitchen. Long ferments and cold proofs can run overnight.

When a day is too full, it moves work earlier. When a loaf will still be late, it tells you plainly, while there is time to fix it.

See how the bake plan works

Start with one drop. Grow when you are ready.

Most bakers start with a weekly drop for neighbors. Add a loaf club for your regulars, and a cafe when one asks. It all feeds the same plan.

Pre-order drops

Post your bake, share one link, and let orders come to you. Everyone pays when they order, so there is no chasing money at pickup.

  • Your own order page with your bakery's name on it
  • A pickup window and an order deadline for each drop
  • Limits per loaf, with a live count of what is left
  • Order history saved to each customer

A loaf club for your regulars

Bread every week or every other week. Set pickup spots with their own days. Subscribers hold their bread for vacation from their own link, so you are not keeping track by text.

When a cafe asks

Say yes without the chaos. Cafes order from a private page that follows your notice rule. Deliver with a signed receipt, then email a PDF invoice in one click. A ready-to-invoice list makes sure none slip by.

Know if your price is right

Enter a recipe once. Proof adds up flour, your time, oven wear and power. It shows what each loaf costs you, and what it earns at your price. No more wondering if $10 is too little.

  • Your regulars. Order history, favorite loaves and spend by month for every customer.
  • Your cafes. What each cafe orders, how often, and whether it is worth the early drive.

Fill your next bake with one text

Tell your regulars when the next bake opens. Proof sends the texts and emails for you. There is no Twilio account to set up and no phone number to buy.

  • A text alerts sign-up page you can share anywhere, with consent built in.
  • Unlimited email on every plan. Texts included each month.
  • STOP and HELP replies handled for you.

Made by a baker who sells bread too

Proof is made by the owner of Daily Manna, a small bakery in Austin. It is built for the jobs a little bread business really has: a weekly drop, a loaf club, a cafe or two, and an oven that only holds so many loaves.

The live demo is set up as Daily Manna, with its loaves and its kind of week. Click around and picture your own Saturday in it, before you pay anything.

Proof, Hotplate or a spreadsheet

Hotplate is good at drops. A spreadsheet is free, but it costs your evenings. Proof is for when you sell more than one way and want a plan for bake day. Payments go straight to your own Stripe, and Proof never takes a cut.

Questions

Something else? Email help@tryproof.io and a person will answer.

I only bake for friends and neighbors. Is this too much?
No. Starter is made for that, at $19 a month, about the price of two loaves. Start with one drop a week. Add a loaf club or a cafe later, if you want to. The parts you do not use stay out of your way.
I am not a computer person. Will I figure it out?
If you can post a loaf on Instagram, you can set up a drop. Proof works in your phone's browser, with nothing to install. Start with your loaves and one drop. If you get stuck, email help@tryproof.io and the person who builds Proof will help.
How long does setup take?
Plan on one evening for your loaves, your prices, your pickup spot and your first drop. Recipes, costing and cafes can come later, one at a time.
Does Proof take a cut of my sales?
No. You pay one flat monthly price. Your customers pay what you charge, with no added fee. Stripe takes its normal card fee on each payment, the same as anywhere you take cards.
How do I get paid?
You connect your own Stripe account. Every payment goes straight to your Stripe, and Stripe pays out to your bank. Proof never holds your money. No more checking Venmo at pickup.
Do I need a Twilio account or anything else for texts?
No. Proof sends your texts and emails for you. Email is unlimited. Each plan includes texts each month (250, 1,000 or 3,000), and extra texts are $4 per 100.
I use Hotplate, or I used Castiron. Can I switch?
Yes. Set up your loaves, your pickup places and your first drop, then share your new storefront link. If you have a customer list, send it to help@tryproof.io and we will help you bring it in.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Proof runs in your phone's browser, including the bake plan and the batch board. There is no app to install. Your customers order from their phones too.
Can I try it first?
Yes. The live demo is a full working bakery you can click through, with orders, batches and a bake plan. No signup. Nothing you do there is sent to real people.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Your customers, orders and recipes are yours. Email help@tryproof.io and we will send you a full export.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There is no contract. Cancel from Billing in the app, and you keep access to the end of the period you paid for.
